Specialist Support throughout the School Journey
The Guidance Department brings together specialised professionals who support students as they grow, learn and face new challenges. Working in coordination with teachers and families, the team provides guidance on learning, emotional development, relationships and transitions between school stages.
Support may range from everyday advice to more individualised guidance, always responding thoughtfully to the needs of each student.

Learning Support
Every student learns differently. Through observation, psychoeducational assessment, classroom strategies and targeted support, CSM by SIS helps students overcome difficulties, build on their strengths and progress with greater confidence.
Teachers receive practical guidance to respond to different learning needs, while families are involved whenever coordinated support can make a meaningful difference.
Education and Prevention
Safe and Positive Environment
CSM by SIS fosters a positive school environment built on respect, empathy and constructive communication. Through age-appropriate projects, mentoring and workshops, students learn to understand emotions, resolve conflicts and make responsible choices.
Initiatives address topics such as bullying, emotional wellbeing, healthy relationships, substance-use prevention, technology use and educational and career guidance.
Preventing Bullying
CSM by SIS implements KiVa, an internationally recognised, evidence-based anti-bullying programme developed in Finland. Through preventive education, clear intervention procedures and ongoing monitoring, KiVa engages the whole school community in creating a safe and respectful environment.
Together for Every Student
A Strong Partnership with Families
Open communication with families allows the school to understand each student more fully and respond with greater consistency. Families can turn to the Guidance Department for advice on academic, emotional or social matters and take part in workshops adapted to the different stages of their child’s development.
