With our international day school, we strive to ensure that the students entrusted to us are prepared for the challenges of life, and that with their education, the gates to the world are open to them.
In the 2026/27 school year, CSM by SIS introduced the bilingual immersion model used across SIS schools. At the same time, the school expanded its educational offering by introducing a new Spanish–English bilingual pathway.
In the 2027/28 school year, this programme will be available in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, and will expand progressively in each subsequent academic year.
Our curriculum is aligned with the requirements of the Spanish education system. CSM by SIS Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary are officially recognised by the Spanish education system.
At College level, students will be able to pursue the IB Diploma, which will be offered from 2028. In Spain, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma provides access to university through the UNEDasiss accreditation system. IB Diploma students can therefore apply to public and private universities in Spain, as well as universities around the world.
The schools of SIS Swiss International School are part of a selected group of schools that apply the International Baccalaureate.
CSM by SIS is a Candidate School* for the IB Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that CSM by SIS believes is important for our students.
Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org
